What to expect

Akshardham Temple- It is also known as the Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple, is a modern architectural marvel dedicated to Bhagwan Swaminarayan. Located on the banks of the Yamuna River, it is one of the largest Hindu temples in the world. The temple features intricately carved pillars, large domes, and a central deity statue of Swaminarayan made of marble. The temple complex also includes beautiful gardens, a musical fountain, and the Yogi Hriday Kamal (a lotus-shaped meditation hall).

Rajghat- Raj Ghat is the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation. It is located on the banks of the Yamuna River and is a simple black marble platform marking the spot where Gandhi was cremated in 1948. Visitors can pay their respects at the memorial, walk through the lush green gardens, and learn about Gandhi’s legacy at the nearby museum

Sikh Temple- In the hustle bustle of a hyper active noisy city, Gurudwara Sri Bangla Sahib is an island of Bliss, Peace & Abundant Serenity. The soulful devotional music transports one to another land and just sitting in the inner hall, where the Guru Granth Saheb resides brings so much of contentment and peace of mind that is hard to describe. Bangla means residence. A must visit to feel centred and balanced.

Lotus Temple- The Lotus Temple is a Bahá'í House of Worship known for its distinctive lotus flower-shaped design. It is open to people of all faiths and is a symbol of unity, peace, and spirituality. The temple is surrounded by lush gardens and offers a tranquil atmosphere for meditation and reflection. It has won several architectural awards for its unique structure and is a popular tourist attraction.

ISKCON Temple- It is a vibrant center for worship, with a focus on Lord Krishna. The temple is beautifully adorned with intricate carvings and bright colors. Devotees and visitors alike can participate in daily prayers, chant mantras, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. The temple is also known for its spiritual programs and vegetarian restaurant that serves prasadam (sacred food).
